Era da parecchio che non ascoltavo qualcosa del genere. Un pezzo R&B dal sapore fresco, che unisce lo stile molte volte melodico di Nelly a quello più elegante di Ashanti. Immancabile la voce quasi distorta di Akon (che figura tra i produttori del brano), ormai presente in qualsiasi produzione.E penso che l'unica nota stonata possa essere proprio il piacevole ritornello che potrebbe essere decisamente migliore se solo fosse cantato da una meno tagliente.
"Body on me" (ascolta) da ballare, poco impegnato, piacevole, da canticchiare, che sta già iniziando la rotazione nei canali musicali per accompagnarci in questi mesi.
Lo stesso pezzo oltre che ad essere contenuto nell'album "Brass knuskles" di Nelly è contenuto anche nell'album di Ashanti "The declaration". Nella versione di Ashanti due strofe sono cantate da lei e una da Nelly, in quella di Nelly avviene il contrario.
