Con il remix di "E.T." (ascolta il remix | l'originale) Benny Benassi, a parer mio, firma una rivisitazione di questo nuovo singolo di Katy Perry che nella sua versione originale non gode di un ritmo particolarmente accattivante.
Benassi, ci mette un po' di "acido", un beat che sta sulle 136 battute, decisamente veloce, incisivo, con un giro di basso e tastiere che sembra avvicinarsi di soppiatto per poi esplodere durante il primo ritornello. Come per il remix del singolo di Madonna, Benny riesce a mantenere collegati uno stile a tratti "violento" se si considera la musica pop, ma piuttosto commerciale, appetibile al pubblico che si vuole scatenare sul dance floor, senza limitazioni ma che comunque vuole qualcosa da canticchiare.
Questo remix dimostra ancora una volta le abilità del produttore e deejay italiano, una grandissima dimostrazione di come la musica dance può diventare pop senza però rinunciare al suo DNA o scendere a troppi compromessi.
