Recensione | David Guetta feat. Usher "Without you"

Senza Guetta come faremmo? Cosa metterebbero i giovani dentro i loro iPod? Cosa suonerebbero le radio? In discoteca cosa si ballerebbe? Sono queste le domande quando si ascoltano le canzoni di questo deejay che ormai vanta collaborazioni con ogni sorta di artista sia che questo sia avvezzo o meno al mondo della musica dance.

Capita così che assieme ad Usher ne esce questa "Without you", che beneficia della voce del cantante americano unita al solito stile house molto commerciale di Guetta che non si smentisce neppure in questo quinto album "Nothing but the beat" uscito lo scorso 29 Agosto 2011.

 Molto lo fa la parte vocale ma anche l'arrangiamento pur restando fedele riesce comunque ad aggiungere qualcosa di divertente, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il ritornello (che in alcuni punti mi ricorda "Aerodynamic" dei Daft Punk) e nelle strofe che presentano pochissime percussioni rendendo il pezzo quasi acustico, con la solita tastiera/chitarra che corre ipnotica, firma ormai del dj francese.

Insomma un pezzo che ci accompagnerà in questi prossimi mesi, con abbastanza elementi per essere un discreto riempi pista ma soprattutto per essere anche ascoltata comodamente con le proprie cuffiette, perché in effetti Usher si trova molto bene in questi panni da vocalist dance ed è un piacere ascoltarlo.

Non è ancora disponibile il video ufficiale, ma come è di moda di questi tempi, Guetta non vi lascerà a guardare lo schermo nero del computer ma ha prontamente realizzato un simpatico video-testuale con il quale è possibile seguire il testo della canzone e ascoltarla.
