Dopo "4 minutes" ecco il singolo successore per Madonna. Co-prodotto e scritto assieme ai Neptunes (dietro ai quali si nasconde Pharrel Philliams, che compare anche nel video) il nuovo singolo si distacca nettamente dallo stile del primo, risultando quindi subito apprezzabile per le nuove sonorità.Fin dall'inizio si capisce subito che abbiamo di fronte un singolo che ci accompagnerà per tutta l'estate e quindi melodie trascinanti al limite tra hip-hop/dance/electro. Difficile quindi inquadrare "Give it 2 me" (ascolta) in una casella stilista ben precisa, rimane in ogni caso uno stile veloce, con tastiere e basso (soprattutto per l'inizio del brano) che la fanno da padrone che potrebbero ricordare uno stile reggae, influenzato in maniera pesante dall'elettronica.
Non mancano effetti sonori e vocoder sulla voce di Madonna e tastiere quasi acid (ma pur sempre piacevoli) a fare da contorno nella canzone.

Ma che bella è la canzone, e quanto bella è lei nel video?!
Lei è sempre in formissima come in ogni video! Davvero grande! E questo video (e la canzone pure) mi piace molto più di "4 minutes"!
