Recensione | Alexandra Burke "Bad Boys (Moto Blanco vocal mix)"

Era successo per "Release me" di Agnes e di nuovo vi presento un remix di una hit già di suo piuttosto danzereccia: "Bad Boys" (ascolta l'originale) dell'inglesina Alexandra Burke, in questa versione remixata da Moto Blanco (ascolta il remix).

Difficile rimanere delusi dall'equilibrio di sonorità raggiunto da questo duo di remixer inglesi, che sformano un remix house tendenzialmente soul, grazie soprattutto all'impostazione vocale della cantante. Suoni elettronici ok che vengono miscelati con abile maestria a tastiere, pianoforte e a un giro di basso che si riesce a notare in quale occasione per la giusta corposità, senza risultare per questo troppo pesante.
Rispetto all'originale decisamente pop, incentrato interamente sull'aggressiva velocità del brano questo remix mantiene una certa connotazione da dancefloor per quanto riguarda le battute al minuto ma appare subito più lento. Cosa che si nota subito al primo ascolto, ma già al secondo si riesce ad apprezzare questa lentezza (parlo della parte vocale, visto che rimane solo quella dell'originale) che fa godere al meglio della connotazione soul del brano.

Tratto dal suo album "Overcome", "Bad Boys" è un altro singolo di successo nato da un'artista vincitrice di X-Factor UK che ha subito raggiungo le vette delle classifiche inglesi, un buon prodotto reso ancora migliore da questa versione destinata al mercato più raffinato dei club, priva anche del rappeggio di Flo Rida, cosa di cui non si sente comunque la mancanza visto l'impronta decisamente più soul di questa rivisitazione.
