"The rhythm of the night" Hermes House Band + Ex Otago

È tempo di cover per quest'estete, soprattutto per un grande classico della musica dance anni '90: "The rhythm of the night" di Corona.
"The rhythm of the night" esce in Italia nel dicembre 1993 ad opera del team italiano che rispondeva proprio al nome di Corona.
Il brano riprende "Save me" delle Say When, ma non il celeberrimo ritornello che ha entusiasmato i dancefloor di tutta italia negli anni '90, quello era completamente ad opera di Corona.
Anche la storia presenta spunti davvero interessanti sul "caso Corona". Il gruppo sceglie come frontwoman Olga de Souza, una ragazza brasiliana dotata di ottime capacità vocali, in realtà in studio il brano viene realizzato con la collaborazione di Jenny Bersola (in arte Jenny B), Olga verrà associata a Corona ma Jenny B divenuta famosa dichiara di essere lei ad aver prestato la voce al progetto e Olga de Souza sarà costretta a svincolarsi dal gruppo.

Eccovi quindi due cover, una del gruppo olandese "Hermes House Band", divenuto famoso per la cover di "I will survive" di Gloria Gaynor, e poi il video del gruppo indie-rock genovese Ex-Otago.
Due bellissime cover, la prima più spensierata la seconda invece decisamente più impegnata ma entrambi notevoli.
