Diagram of the Heart "Dead famous". Lap dance videoclip dell'estate

Quando si parla di lap dance e videoclip musicali viene subito in mente un vecchio pezzo degli The White Stripes, "I just don't know what to do with myself". Oltre al titolo che comprendeva praticamente tutto il ritornello, quello che fece più scalpore era la lap dancer, una Kate Moss sensuale e intrigante come poche volte. merito del bianco e nero, delle luci misurate al millimetro che lasciavano molto all'immaginazione o forse della lentezza dei movimenti, rimane che quel video musicale era un esempio di sensualità ed eleganza senza mai scendere in eccessive volgarità.

Con "Dead famous" (guarda il video) siamo di fronte ad un qualcosa di molto simile, il duo inglese (Kye Sones, Anthony Gorry) per la loro canzone hanno pensato bene di riciclare quel concetto aggiungendo qualche dettaglio originale. Come ad esempio la ballerina che si muove con naturalezza e scritte al neon che compaiono e scompaiono mostrando alcuni pezzi del testo della canzone.

Un video davvero bello, come la canzone che sapientemente mescola generi diversi, concentrandosi sulla musica elettronica ma senza metter da parte altre influenze. Insomma un video perfetto per essere abbinato a questa canzone, elegante, sexy, provocante ma anche in questo caso molto misurato, mai volgare o troppo eccessivo e spudorato.

Per chi volesse qualcosa di ancora più destinato ai club e decisamente più house non mancano i remix, eclettici, quasi ipnotici, potremmo definirli late night:

- Vegas Baby club mix (di cui non ho trovato un'anteprima sonora decente)
