La sua "Set fire to the rain" (ascolta) mi ha subito colpito, con la sua voce così soul è riusita un'altra volta a dare vita ad un brano davvero molto bello anche se malinconico. Certo non avrei mai immaginato che una canzone del genere potesse passare sotto le mani di Danny Harrison e Arthur Smith, ossia il duo Moto Blanco.
Così "Set fire to the rain (Moto Blanco remix)" (ascolta il remix) viene leggermente velocizzato, ma non stravolto. Le sonorità sono più o meno quelle a cui ci hanno abituato con altri remix (che trovate in fondo al post), qui giusto un po' addolcite ma tutto sommato violini, chitarre e pianoforte tutti sintetizzati ci sono sempre.
Perché merita allora? Perché talvolta rimanere fedeli a sè stessi non è sempre un male, soprattutto in fatto di musica. I deejay house più commerciali troveranno un altro bellissimo remix da suonare, che farà canticchiare e ballare il pubblico senza annoiarlo.
Per uno abbastanza conservatore come me, con scarsa creatività, questa canzone era difficile che non piacesse, ed è stato proprio così, perché pur restando destinata al modno dei club riesce con disinvoltura a staccarsi e a diventare una hit da ascoltare.
