Recensione | Kylie Minogue "Put your hands up (Pete Hammond remix)"

Ultimamente Kylie Minogue mi ha lasciato piuttosto indifferente, però con questo singolo non passa di certo inosservata. Perché mentre la versione originale del disco rimane per ora relegata in un angolo (d'altrode non aggiunge moltissimo al repertorio della cantante australiana), "Put your hands up (Pete Hammond remix)" (ascolta il remix) è un vero e proprio tuffo negli anni '80, con quelle sonorità che ricordano moltissimo "I should be so lucky", grandissimo successo che ormai è prossimo a compiere 30 anni.

Certo il genere risulta decisamente appetibile come un omaggio retrò a quel decennio, ovviamente i tempi sono cambiati e sentire certe cose fa piacere, soprattutto dopo che negli anni passati tutto assomigliava a "I should be so lucky" o ai dischi di Rick Astley.

Ulteriore omaggio viene dal video (che è la versione remixata), con atmosfere 80's ma soprattutto che segue la moda di mettere il testo a video, con un infinità di effetti grafici.
